Mirei is the smartest girl in Area 11. She is the grandaughter of the schools owner. She is eager to discouver all of Lelouch's weaknesses. She was secretly in love with him but realized the need to concentrate on her studies and her family instead of pursuing him. She will marry a noble later when her academic pursuits are finished. Her and Kallen often pretend to be ill to obtain closeness to their friends. Most of the characters will feel sorry for one or the other of these two girls. CC becomes frustrated at times with Mirei, but loves her dearly. She thinks her intelligence makes her feel awkward and insecure. She is very beautiful and inside is a wonderful person.
